Élisabeth de BANVILLE, wife of the poet. Marie-Élisabeth Rochegrosse, née Bourotte (1828-1904), was the mother of painter Georges-Antoine Rochegrosse. She married Étienne Jean Baptiste Claude Théodore Faullain de Banville (1823-1891), French poet, playwright and drama critic, son of Lieutenant Claude Théodore Faullain de Banville and Zélie Huet, on February 15, 1875 - Letter A.S. written June 4, 1883. Letter of thanks following compliments for her son. Signed "Elisabeth de Banville".
