Athénaïs MIALARET, wife of Jules MICHELET. Athénaïs Marguerite Mialaret (1826-1899) was a historian, writer and naturalist. She was the daughter of Yves Louis Jacques Hippolyte Mialaret, former tutor to Toussaint Louverture's children. On March 12, 1849, she married Jules MICHELET (1798-1874), one of the great French historians of the 19th century, son of Jean François Furcy Michelet, a master printer who was imprisoned for unpaid debts in 1808 - 3 Letters A.S. Written in Paris between 1884 and 1886. The 1st is a Letter of thanks for a review, the 2nd concerns a biographical note, the 3rd talks about his new book "Notre France". Signed "Athénaïs Jules Michelet".
