General WEYGAND. Marie Renée Joséphine de Forsanz (1876-1961) was the daughter of Colonel Raoul de Forsanz. She married the future General Maxime Weygand on November 12, 1900. Weygand was arrested by the Gestapola on the eve of the German invasion of the free zone on November 11, 1942, deported to Germany and interned until the end of the war. Arrested on his return from Germany, accused of high treason and imprisoned by the Provisional Government of the French Republic, his case was dismissed in 1948. He defended the memory of Marshal Petain - 3 letters A.S. written in Paris: April 6, 1930, concerning the commemoration of the 5th Centenary of Joan of Arc + February 16, 1932, letter written from a clinic in thanks + December 10, 1955, note on the payment of a membership fee.
