LOUIS XIII (1601-1643, King of France from 1610 to his death) / Piece on paper signed (secretary's hand), given at Fontainebleau in 1626, in which he informs the Sieur de Fontenay of his intention to make up for the reduction in the number of men in the METZ garrison by bringing in the companies of Verdelin and Marcillac located in VERDUN - This document on paper (21,5 x 29 cm) is mounted on a black background under a marie-louise and presented in a gilded frame, with traces of white mold inside (on the back of the frame, certificate by "Les écrits d'Antan", 1970s).
