Officer's sword circa 1800. Gilt bronze mounting. Pommel decorated with a frieze of stylized acanthus leaves, a vegetal crown and a four-leaf clover at the top, a flat jointed bow with a carved bit, accident to the quillons. Keyboard in the form of a shield featuring a lion on a background of weapon trophies. Wooden spindle and mother-of-pearl plate (one missing). Straight blade with triangular cross-section signed on the heel "VAKF", quarter engraved with gilding remnant. Oxidation. No scabbard. Probably foreign work circa 1800.
