Jean-Baptiste-Daniel DUPUIS (1849-1899) The Spring and the Nest Two plates Antwerp: Young nude woman drinking from a spring. Signed lower right and monogrammed upper left / Young nude woman contemplating a nest in a tree. Signed lower left. Reverse: Love on a rock / Love on a branch. Both attributed to L. Tempoiré by the École Nationale de Musique d'Angoulême. Marked on the edge: cornucopia followed by the number 1 and "SILVER" for 950 thousandths. Superb Art Nouveau silver plates designed by Jean-Baptiste Daniel-Dupuis. In 1872, he was awarded the Premier Grand Prix de Rome. Dimensions : 6.7x3.8cm Gross weights: 56.8g and 59.9g Good condition. In their original red and blue cases. Wear on case.
