Cycling/ Tour/ Delanglade/ Buffet/ Foret/ Anquetil Exceptional series of illustrated philatelic postcards published by the great Joseph Foret (1901-1991) on the 1958 Tour de France. This series of 23 cards is illustrated by the subtle Bordeaux artist Frédéric Delanglade (1907-1970), who adds a poetic touch to each stage. The 25th card, for the finish in Paris, is signed by Bernard Buffet (1928-1999), whose Anquetil is a scream of truth. All are franked with Buffet's illustrated postmark. Here we offer cards no. 2 to 25, i.e. 24 cards (no. 1 is missing). The eclectic M. Foret also published a Delanglande album inspired by Lewis Carroll's Alice.
