Olympic Games/ summer, 1900/ Paris/ Exposition Universelle Two official sets: a) Block of six tickets to the 1900 Exposition Universelle, one franc each. With official red postmark. Pre-cut. Corner of board. 17 x 15.5 cm b) 20-franc bearer bond. Share in perfect condition, whole (which is rare). Used to finance the Exposition. There were over 3 million of these bonds, but those that survived the war are very rare. Financing the Exhibition also meant financing the Games, and entering the Exhibition meant being able to see some of the international sporting competitions.
