Olympic Games/ Summer, 1908, 1920, 24, 28/ Guillemot/ Nurmi/ Dorando Pietri Set of 6 original press photos plus one reprint: a) The print of Dorando Pietri's (1885-1942) eventful finish at the 1908 London Marathon (18.5x12.5) b) Joseph Guillemot (1899-1975), winner of the Paris Championships at La Courneuve (18x13), retouched photo. He would go on to become Olympic 5000m champion at the 1920 Antwerp Games, at the expense of Paavo Nurmi. c) Three original press photos of the "flying Finn", Paavo Nurmi (1897-1973), the man with nine Olympic gold medals; two photos of him as a runner (18x13), one of them after his world record mile (one of his 22 records), and the other in civilian clothes (rare), with his wife and son.
