It is one of the very first terrestrial observatories where Man discovered the appearance of the galaxies and nebulae of our universe. Here,Earth view of the gas nebula called "Crab Nebula" (Messier 1) in the constellation Taurus. Circa 1930. Vintage silver print on chamoix paper. Handwritten annotations and descriptions in pencil on the back. 13x18CM with margins.
