NASA. Historic APOLLO 11 mission. Very rare view of the instrument used to measure the distance from the Earth to the Moon. The device consists of a laser reflector designed to reflect a laser beam sent from the Earth in order to precisely calculate the distance between the Earth and the Moon. Note the beautiful human footprints on the lunar surface in the foreground. July 20, 1969. Vintage chromogenic print on fiber paper: "A KODAK PAPER". 25.4X 20.3 CM with margins.
