Henri d'HARCOURT (1654-1718) Marshal of France in 1703, Marquis de BEUVRON in 1705, Peer of France, Gentleman and Military, Lieutenant-General in the Government of Upper Normandy in 1678, Ambassador. Letter signed "BEUVRON" ROUEN, this April 30 (circa 1705). "I have already had the honor of replying to you concerning Monsieur de THIL, but I fear that through a misunderstanding my letter was sent to another... I was mandating that I would do as you wished and that Mr de THIL, because of his prison, would not be of any use and that his property, because of the unsettled seizures incurred by creditors...". 2 pages in-8°.
