Duc d'ESTRÉES Victor-Marie, Marshal of France 1703, Peer of France 1723, Vice-Admiral of the Ponant, Lieutenant-General of Brittany and Viceroy of New France, Académie Française. (Paris 1660 - 1737) - Copy of the request to the Marshals of France and order signed in Paris on April 24, 1734 by the Marshal Duc d'ESTRÉES: the Sieur de LESTANG-DERY, originally from Berry, finding himself pressed by the Chevalier de PIERRE-BUSSIÈRE for the payment of a Billet d'Honneur for the sum of 1000 livres has recourse to the Maréchaux de France to order the Sieur BAUDIÈRE residing at the Château d'Entraygues near Aurillac (Cantal) to make incessant payment of 2 billets d'honneurs of 500 Livres which he owes to the Sieur de LESTANG-DERY, as he is being pursued by Chevalier de PIERRE-BUSSIÈRE in the service of the King. The request was presented by F. MANGIN de BEAUVAIS, Prior of the Collège de Grandmont, as having charge of Sieur LESTANG-DÉRY. 4 folio pages.
