"It is forbidden for anyone, of any rank whatsoever, under penalty of being shot, to give absolute or limited leave, as no motives or reasons can be valid in wartime for obtaining such leave. Any man caught fleeing or aiding the escape of a Soldier will be shot on the spot, without any form of trial...
