SOMME. 1816. AMIENS. SEIZURE OF FALSE WEIGHTS AND MEASURES AND OLD WEIGHTS. Extract from a judgement rendered by the Municipal Police Court in AMIENS on April 6, 1816. Conviction of Merchants, Crushers, Wool Merchants, Butchers, convicted: "some of having kept old weights in their homes; others, of having new weights that were not marked with the letter O; and the Butchers, of having had scales that were not very accurate...".
