CHARENTE-MARITIME. LA ROCHELLE. BALLON. Program for the Fête de SAINT-LOUIS, to celebrate the Fête du Roi. Fait et arrêté à l'Hôtel-de-Ville de la ROCHELLE, le 21 Aout 1824. Program: Cannon salute, public buildings decorated with the White Flag, ships in the port and basin will be decked out, 3,000 pounds of bread distributed to the needy, high mass at the Cathedral Church and a Te Deum will be sung, foot races on the promenade du Mail, public dances, theatrical performance offered, at six o'clock a balloon will be launched on the Place-d'armes, fireworks, procession, and illuminations of facades.
