CANTAL. "Fête de S. M. CHARLES X.". Extract from the deliberations of the City Council of AURILLAC. Meeting of October 29, 1826: "CHARLES X gave his portrait to the Aurillac Town Hall... The Council voted that the inauguration of the Portrait of His Majesty CHARLES X, given by the King to the town of AURILLAC, will take place on Saint Charles's day, the King's feast day. The portrait of His Majesty will be placed in the Grand'Salle of the Hôtel-de-Ville. On either side, the Bust of S. M. LOUIS XVIII, and that of Mgr le DAUPHIN....
