5th VENDEE WAR launched by the Duchess of BERRY. Patent signed "Marie-Caroline" Duchess of BERRY, as Regent of France for her Son Henry V, countersigned by General Baron Anne Louis Antoine CLOUET commanding the right bank of the Loire (Créteil (94) 1781-1862). He took part with General de BOURMONT in the attempted uprising in the West in favor of the Duchesse de Berry in 1832. Brevet confirming the appointment of Louis HUBERT to the rank of Chef de Bataillon in the Armée Royale, whose duties he performed in the province of Brittany in May and June 1832. Exiled to GRATZ (Austria) on February 28, 1837. Marie-Caroline, Duchesse de BERRY (1798-1870) daughter of the King of the Two Sicilies, wife of the Duc de Berry, mother of the Comte de Chambord, she tried in 1832 to raise the Vendée.
