Alexandre WALEWSKI, Count then Duke (Poland 1810 - Strasbourg 1868) Natural son of Napoleon I and Marie Walewska, Franco-Polish soldier, diplomat and politician. He was a minister and senator during the Second Empire. Printed letter with autograph signature of "A. WALEWSKI" Minister of State. Paris, January 17, 1861, to Comte de CAMBACÉRÈS Louis, Député. He sends him the ampliation of the Imperial Decree convening the Senate and the Legislative Body, for next Monday February 4th. 2 folio pages, partly printed.
