This historic image shows the launch of this small rocket, used to test the ejection system of the Apollo capsule. The launch takes place on a desert site, with a trail of smoke indicating the rocket's rapid ascent. These tests were crucial to ensure the safety of future Apollo astronauts. Circa 1964.
