NASA. MARS PLANET. This captivating image reveals the surface of Mars with impressive clarity. It shows a Martian landscape dotted with a variety of geological formations, such as sand dunes, craters and depressions. The scene takes place inside Mars' Jezero crater; the crater rim is visible on the skyline beyond the hill. The hill is about 50 metres high.
