Webb's infrared view reveals subtle details of the galaxy's central regions and spiral arms, highlighting the clouds of gas and dust where stars form. By comparison, Hubble's view in the visible spectrum shows individual stars and spiral arms with less detail in the regions hidden by dust. Vintage chromogenic print.
