HMAYIL D'ASDVADZADOUR, 1714 Prophylactic scroll (hmayil, հմայիլ) handwritten and illuminated on laid paper. The colophon indicates that the manuscript was executed by the scribe Asdvadzadour in 1714, probably in Constantinople where this scribe was active in the early 18th century. Notragir script, dimensions: 479.5 x 8 cm The names of the beneficiaries Nikoghos and Khoumar have been added in a different script from the original. The upper part of the first painting is missing.
