EXCEPTIONAL DOUBLE-CURVED SABER Steel blade decorated on both sides with inscriptions probably in silver damascened Armenian letters in cartouches surmounted by stylized birds damascened in gold. Chased bronze guard. Riveted black horn handle with large ears. Certainly for ceremonial or decorative use. Caucasus, 19th-20th century. Length: 65 cm.
