Provenance : Private collection, Geneva (acquired late 70s-early 80s) Private collection, Vaduz (acquired 2006) Seated shaman in a stylized representation. The arms are tubular. The left hand is resting on the left knee. Legs are extended. The right arm is raised, fist clenched or holding an object. The head shows a cranial deformity. He wears a headdress adorned with a shamanic horn. His chest is decorated with linear and geometric motifs carved into the terracotta. It is likely that this is the representation on the ceramic of a shamanic protective garment.
