Hippolyte de BÉTHUNE, Comte de Selles, Marquis de Chabris, known as "Le Comte de Béthune" (Rome 1603 - Sept 24, 1665), Chevalier des Ordres du Roi and Chevalier d'Honneur de la Reine Marie-Thérèse d'Autriche, Gouverneur des Villes et Château de Romorantin, de Millançay et du Château de Marcheval à Millançay. Signed "Hippolyte de Béthune" in PARIS, March 25, 1665. 1 page in-8°. He remitted to the Marquis de MONTATERRE (Montataire, OISE) the quantity of 19 arpents of meadows located in the election of SENLIS (Oise) "and this for the share that I can claim in consequence of the Gift that it has more to His Majesty (The King) to grant me of the Communities both usurped and those alienated in the aforementioned Election of SENLIS, and the aforementioned remission for the time of 25 years I enjoy carried by my Letters Patents of July 23, 1663 and Dec 15, 1664."
