Jérôme Marie CHAMPION DE CICÉ (Rennes/ Ille-et-Vilaine 1735 - Aix-en-Provence 1810. Bishop of Rodez, Archbishop of Bordeaux, then of Aix-En-Provence. Appointed Keeper of the Seals under Louis XVI, he was the author of the draft 24-article Declaration of Rights that served as the basis for the 1789 Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen - Letter A.S. as Bishop of RODEZ (Aveyron), Paris February 9, 1771, to Mr de St Jullien, Receiver General of the Clergy of France, at his hotel, rue Neuve des Petits Champs (Paris), concerning a business settlement.
