Engraved letterhead with his name and titles: "Maréchal de France, Chevalier des Ordres du Roi, Gouverneur général et Grand Sénéchal des Pays de FOIX, DONNEZAN et ANDORE; Gouverneur particulier du Château de FOIX (Ariège), Lieutenant-Général en Champagne et Brie; Ministre et Secrétaire d'État ayant le Département de la Guerre". Certificate signed "Le Maréchal de Ségur" from the Château de VERSAILLES on December 12, 1786. "Certify that the Governor of Le Havre should... enjoy 2400 livres from the Messagerie du Havre, and that this emolument of the Governor of the Place was established before the state decreed by His Majesty in 1768: in witness whereof, we have given the present certificate to serve and be worth what is right." 1 folio page.
