Autograph letter signed Jacques-Joseph, Vicomte de KEROUARTZ, from MORLAIX (29) on July 3, 1787, addressed to Mr DURAND Directeur des vivres de la Marine. 2 pages large in-8° - He replies concerning Les Bois which he has offered to have sold in BREST for the Vivres de la Marine: "I have myself waited for an answer until today from Sieur De MARHADOUR procureur et agent au Port Launay. He tells me today that as soon as he can obtain jigs, he will have samples of each species taken. On seeing the faggots, you will be able to tell us what price you intend to put on them." he asks him to correspond directly with Mr. MARHADOUR on all matters relating to this Wood Market.
