LOUIS XVI Roi des Français et par la Loi Constitutionnel de l'État ordonne ce qui suit. "The National Assembly decrees that any taxpayer who justifies having been taxed in the role because of the principal of the movable contribution on the coast of dwelling, with a sum higher than the fortieth of its income presumed according to the rents of dwelling, will be entitled to a reduction, by conforming to the rules which were which will be prescribed."
