MEURTHE-ET-MOSELLE. 1801. Congé militaire d'un TAMBOUR, signé du Conseil du 4e Demi-Brigade d'Infanterie de Ligne, fait à NANCY (54) 9 Nivôse An 10 (30 Déc. 1801). Certificat de bonne conduite du citoyen MAILLET, Tambour audit Corps, natif de MARSEILLE (13), entré en service en 1791, il a toujours donné des marques d'un grand courage pour la Défense de la Patrie. He fought 9 campaigns, in Piedmont, at the Siege of Toulon, in 1793, in Spain, in Italy, in the army of England, in the army of Batavia and of the Rhine Year 9. Became crippled and one-eyed. Handwritten patent (30 x 46 cm). Decorative.
