MARÉCHAL COMTE VALÉE. 1814. Congé de réforme de Charles MARÉCHAL, Maréchal des logis du 6ème Train d'Artillerie, natif de BIONVILLE (Meurthe-et-Moselle); Fait à STRASBOURG 30 Septembre 1814. Signed by Comte VALÉE and the Conseil du Régiment du Train d'Artillerie. This soldier was Maréchal des Logis in 1813. He fought in the campaigns from Year 11 to 1814, on the ocean coast, in Austria, Prussia and Poland, in Spain and Italy. Engraved patent (25 x 40), filled in ink - VALÉE (Sylvain-Charles, Comte) Aube 1773-1846. General of the Empire, Marshal of France in 1837. He reorganized the artillery (1822) and took Constantine (1837).
