"The French Officers have already been invited by their Authorities to leave Orleans and go to their posts. The undersigned, Baron de MARCOITZ, commanding the advance guard of the Prussian army, having received notice that, despite this order, there are still several officers in Orleans in bourgeois dress, warns them to leave the city within 24 hours.
