FRANC Père, Fils et MARTELIN, Manufacturers in ST-RAMBERT-EN-BUGEY (Ain) and LYON (Rhône), Correspondence of around 600 Letters and Invoices from 1858 and 1878, most stamped. They are merchants of silks and silk waste, Frisons and Frisonnets (Cocoons freed from their outer stuffing). Letters from Frisons mechanical combing mills, silk waste combing mills; cotton yarn ropes for spinning mills; carding mills, fancy carding mills, silk spinning mills, dyeing mills, etc. Some letters are mounted in a volume entitled "Filature.". Some have defects and tears.
