ORIENT CAMPAIGN 1914-1917. Correspondence from a sailor aboard the BIEN-HOA, a French hospital ship bound for SALONIQUE (Thessalonica, Greece), more than 100 postcards written during his voyage from Salonique, off the Dardanelles, Greece, the Arsenal de Toulon (Var), Bizerte, the Hôpital Maritime de Tunisie, off Algiers. Interesting accounts of his days, sent to his parents, brother and sister, from 1916 to 1918: Rade de Toulon 1917, This evening 300 nurses were taken on board to bring them to Salonika. He's on board the hospital ship BIEN-HOA, which collects the wounded and insane from the Eastern War.
