MIME - Pierre VERRY(1913-2009, mime, he was Mime Marceau's regular partner) / Autograph letter signed "Pierre", 3 p in-8, letterhead "Grand Hôtel", Lyon, September 13, 1983, to Mime Marceau: he informs his old friend Marcel that he has been appointed to the Order of Arts and Letters, and that it was the Mayor of Montaigu (Montaigu-de-Quercy in the Tarn-et-Garonne, where Verry had retired) who presented him with the medal on the occasion of the Bastille Day celebrations on July 14.
