"De par le Roy, Arrêté de Gorge VANDEBERGUE, Lieutenant Général de Police d'Orléans, assisté des autres Officiers, juges auditors, assemblés le 26 Novembre 1725, portant règlement du prix des Chairs qui se vendent dans les Boucheries de la Ville... forbidding the Butchers of this City, under penalty of a fine of 1000 Livres, to sell Butcher's Meat at a higher price than the following; namely: the two hind quarters of Beef, Calf & Sheep, six Sols per pound; the front quarters four Sols per pound... Enjoin the said Butchers to supply separately Chairs of Beef, Veal & Mutton to those who will only need one or two of the said species...". Cupboard (49 x 37) Condition B
