SOMME. Canton of ABBEVILLE. Extract from the Arrêtés register of the municipal administration of the Canton of ABBEVILLE, session of 5 Brumaire An 5 (26 Oct. 1796). "All Aubergists, Maitres d'Hôtels and Logeurs will be required to come to the Secretariat of the Municipal Administration to declare their status as Aubergists or Logeurs. They will also be required to keep a Register on paper stamped with the current stamp, listed & initialed by one of the Police Commissioners.
