Georges MOUTON, Comte de LOBAU, General, Comte de Lobau in 1810, Aide de Camp to Emperor Napoleon I during the Hundred Days of 1815, Marshal of France in 1831 (Phalsbourg/Moselle 1770 - Paris 1838). Autograph letter signed, Paris, December 26, 1818, rue de Bourbon, No. 96 (He had returned to France after his exile in England, and was placed on inactive status). He writes to Maréchal de Camp Baron Jean REVEST, in Amiens. 1p in-8°: "My dear General... I thank you as much as your kind memory... for your former General. My family, during the absence, has been increased by two daughters, who, as well as their eldest, are doing wonderfully. My wife is not so well, her health could not withstand such harsh shocks..."
