He writes to Maréchal de Camp Baron Jean REVEST, in Amiens. 1p in-8°: "My dear General... I thank you as much as your kind memory... for your former General. My family, during the absence, has been increased by two daughters, who, as well as their eldest, are doing wonderfully. My wife is not so well, her health could not withstand such harsh shocks..."
