Commenced with God's help on September 22, 1805 and finished by God's grace on February 18, 1806. An in-folio volume bound in period half vellum, laces. 35 x 24 cm. A handsome teaching manuscript on laid paper, produced in red, black, yellow and green inks, with each page carefully presented and decorated with numerous calligraphic ornaments and drawings, always calligraphed in colored inks. Among the stylized drawings are numerous dogs, fantastical animals, birds and faces. Rules for various calculations, mathematics and arithmetic. A total of 191 superbly illuminated pages in colored inks.
