He certifies having given absolute Congé to the named LA VIOLETTE de COMPIÈGNE, Soldier of the said Company to go to the invalids, after having served the King (Louis XIV) for 12 years and being now unable to do the said service because of his great old age. 1 page in-8° oblong, wax seal with arms.
