Certificate signed on his letterhead with his name and titles, made at Versailles on August 30, 1694. "We certify that the King (Louis XIV) has granted Michel Eustache Sieur de la Vignotière, the Charge d'Écuyer de la Grande écurie de Sa Majesté held by Sieur Guillaume de la Cassagne, the last peaceful possessor of the same... Please ask Monsieur de PONCHARTRAIN, King's Councillor and Minister... to send him the necessary Letters of Retention...". 1 folio page, seal with his coat of arms, under paper.
