Théodore de BAUFFREMONT-COURTENAY, Prince-Duc de Bauffremont (Madrid 1793 - Paris 1853) Cavalry Colonel in 1824. He was an active supporter of the Duchesse de Berry and became Aide de Camp to the Duke of Bordeaux (Henry V). He married Anne Elisabeth Laurence De Montmorency in 1819 - Lettre A.S. du Prince Théodore De BAUFFREMONT, rue de l'Université N°80 "Hôtel de Montmorency", à PARIS 22 juin 1826, adressée Monsieur BAUTTE Fabricant de Bijoux à Genève (Suisse). 2pp in-4° with address, red wax seal with arms at opening - "I have just paid... the two notes for the purchase of Mr CHATELAIN's Table curieuse; I still ask for your kindness to tidy it up, and put back the stones that are missing, observing that they are not of great value" he asks for time to refurbish it "to get the necessary permission from M. de CASTELBAJAC. I have not yet received the medallion, your set was a complete success, as was the Bracelet, you are well used to that...".
