Autograph letter signed, PARIS February 27, 1869 on ÉCOLE IMPÉRIALE SPÉCIALE des BEAUX-ARTS letterhead - 1p in-8° - "My dear Director. The notice I sent the other day is definitive: if there are any gaps in it, I would be very grateful if you would have it filled in. The intention expressed to me by the Superintendent is to have a marble taken directly to the Champs de Mars at the last minute. As for the COLBERT that is currently being bronzed, it could follow the same route. But if you prefer, as they are ready in about 20 days, I will send it to the Champs Élysées...".
