Published in Paris, at GLM, in 1949. Covered with a brocaded and well-preserved cover. Antonin Artaud, born in Marseille on September 4, 1896 and died in Ivry-sur-Seine on March 4, 1948, was a French theater theorist, actor, writer, essayist, draftsman and poet. Poetry, directing, drugs, pilgrimages, drawing and radio, each of these activities was a tool in his hands, "a means to reach a little of the reality that escapes him".
