"Approved to be printed, MIRABEAU L'AINÉ." - revolutionary text (1790) - 2pp in-4°: "Gentlemen. We see with pleasure, the zeal of which you are animated for the Salvation of the public thing. The goal of our institution being to propagate Patriotism in all the parts of the Empire, all the societies of the Friends of the Constitution, must unite by the bonds of the most intimate fraternity, and be attached to form only one and same family in order to work together to ensure the triumph of the Laws and Liberty. Let us hope, Gentlemen, that one day the whole Nation will do justice to the purity of our views, and that it will recognize, without difficulty, that the societies of the Friends of the Constitution, have contributed to establish, in this empire, Peace and Happiness.
