CINEMA - "LA CREATION DU MONDE" by Jean EFFEL (1908-1982, illustrator) / Extensive archive of his film "La Création du Monde", an 88-minute French-Czechoslovak animated feature directed by Eduard Hofman, for which he created the drawings, commentary and lyrics: Autograph drafts of the verses: notes on around 80 pages (all media); Autograph manuscript of verses (8 p in-4); Set of 96 plates representing the storyboard, cutting the film into 260 sequences, each with a drawing by Effel with the text opposite; General typescript of the text (51 p in-4) with working annotations by Effel; Workbook (over 130 p in-4), with text, music and reel correspondence details, extensively annotated by Effel, with numerous autograph music manuscripts by Jean Wiener (also in an accompanying folder); Original contract for the creation of drawings for a 600-meter cartoon film, concluded between Jean Effel and Czechoslovak State Film, 4 p in-4, signed in Prague, undated (July 26, 1955) by Jean Effel and the representative of Ceskoslovensky Statni Film ; Original contract drawn up in Prague on March 10, 1958 for a 2400-meter film (cancelling the previous 1955 contract) between Jean Effel and Kratky Film Praha, 6 p in-4 typewritten, signed by Jean Effel, Charles Chyska and Vojen Masnik, enclosed : several duplicates of contract endorsements; Set of 330 slides from the film, in a cardboard box captioned "Collection Effel - La Création du Monde" (over 200 are uncovered); Set of 20 vintage prints from the film (11 phot 23.5 x 17.5 cm and 9 phot 18 x 13 cm); Set of film presentation brochures and other documents, including poster for the Paris screening at Studio 43.
