Registre de comptes et livre de raison manuscrit, 1745 -1798, de Jean AUTIN, Rentier, originaire de la Paroisse de RICARVILLE près FAUVILLE EN CAUX, Diocèse de ROUEN, où il est né le 12 Juin 1717 ; Registre in-folio., of 100 Sheets, written on 62 pages, bound in vellum, paper-maker's label "A la Teste noire", blue ribbons: details of his property and rents (notably with the Caen vinegar makers, property in Caen and Rouen, the Écoville Farm, interests in ships "Le Navire le Jean Baptiste Thérèse du Havre, Le Navire nommé "l'Auguste Thérèse", built in Caen, for its first voyage in 1753, Shipbuilding at the CAEN Shipyard of the "Marie Pierre" in which he took a 16% interest ; farms and land, his surety bond, purchase of a wigmaker's office in Caen, annuity on a merchant shoemaker, rue St Jean de Caen; etc... The author has re-used an old register (which has not been used) of Jacques Forceville's lease of the Tobacco Farm in 1743.
