Autograph letter signed "Benoist d'Azy" from Château d'AZY to St Benin d'Azy, January 25, 1873. 3pp in-8°: "Monsieur... I would be delighted to read you in your own newspaper, and I would ask you to count me among your subscribers. I believe that the mission of the monarchical press today must be to approach with gravity and care all subjects that concern the consolidation of our Social Council, which is so threatened today. It must show France that its best, most useful friends are among those who uphold the principles that have made France great in other times. To unite its interests around these principles is the true, the great mission, assigned to the Royalists. This mission can be summed up in the advice given by Mr. le Comte d'ARTOIS to his friends in 1814: "You must be among your own kind, and reach out to others".
