MAGIC LANTERN / "Le Voyage en Paquebot": rare series of 10 glass plates for magic lantern projection, circa 180-90, they were sold to passengers of the British P & O Steamship Company, as a souvenir of their crossing, they show life on board, games on deck, sailor's maneuvers, religious service, the great deck wash, the first-class lounge, etc. (translucent silkscreen on hand-colored glass, 7 x 7 cm on view, lined with a layer of glass to protect it, used condition, all held together with adhesive paper.
